Hello - and welcome!

In my previous work with the SGI Appeal Advisor program with the Government of Saskatchewan, I saw that many people and their practitioners were dealing with similar issues and frustrations with SGI personal injury claims, but felt like they were going through everything alone. This newsletter will connect people with stories and information about personal injury claims in Saskatchewan.

It’s important that people know that they are not alone, and that there is support available for those who’ve been injured in motor vehicle accidents. Practitioners working within the injury claims process can get insight about what information is most helpful for SGI when they are adjudicating claims. There are many - many - problems with the adjudication and appeal processes that exist in Saskatchewan, but information about how to navigate this system and how to connect and advocate for change will help us all.

I look forward to connecting with people throughout the province - and beyond! We have a Crown corporation staffed with caring and smart people, but without oversight claims are often denied without proper justification. We need to make sure that the interests of the people of Saskatchewan are being met with the SGI no fault system, and we will be stronger together.
